Whether you’re getting behind the wheel for the first time or already have your test booked, Emmanuel will tailor each lesson to develop the skills you need next. Lessons are available across Medway and Kent.

What you can work on

Lessons build practical control, observation, planning and independent decision-making. You’ll finish each session knowing what you’ve improved and what to practise next.

Your first lessons

Start with cockpit checks, controls, moving off, stopping, steering, observations and safe road position. The pace moves with you.

Test preparation

Build your test readiness through focused practice and realistic mock tests. Lessons cover the eyesight check, safety questions, general driving, independent driving and reversing exercises with guidance on the areas that need further practice.

Confidence lessons

Return to driving after a break or spend time working on situations you find difficult. There’s space to ask questions, repeat routes and build your confidence at your own pace.

Everyday driving

The goal goes beyond test day. Lessons develop the judgement and awareness you’ll use when driving independently.

Lessons take place in a hybrid vehicle that combines petrol and electric power without needing to be plugged in. Its smooth, quiet drive provides a comfortable environment to focus on observation, planning and control.

Driving lesson questions

How many driving lessons will I need?

Every learner is different, so there’s no set number of lessons. Your previous experience, confidence, private practice and how quickly you develop each skill will all play a part. After seeing you drive, Emmanuel can assess where you are and help you understand what you need to work on next.

Can I start with a two-hour driving lesson?

Yes. Two-hour packages are available for new and continuing students.
